As one of the U.S. military academies, the Air Force Academy provides
cadets a program of intellectual, professional, physical, and character

Since its inception in 1954, 31 cadets have earned Rhodes Scholarships,
92 have been accepted as Guggenheim Fellows, 70 have been selected as
National Science Foundation Fellows and 30 cadets have accepted Fulbright-Hays
